In July of 2024, Garden House Design and a small selection of industry partners were invited to join Mark Gregory, Managing Director, in creating The Glasshouse Collective. Coming straight out of the gate with ambitious intentions, The Glasshouse Collective had big plans to innovate new ways for industry partners to learn from each other and collaborate on projects. Now two years later, Garden House Design and so many other amazing high-quality businesses, with the likes of Millboard, Landscape Plus, Nkuku, Torc Pots and so many other incredible companies, all showcasing their incredible products.
With their very own super-sized greenhouse, The Glasshouse Collective hosts a variety of seminars, workshops and panel discussions. Inviting guest speakers from industry charities and associations, to help make sure all the partners in the community are getting the support they need. Alan Williams, Creative Director of The Glasshouse Collective, continues to create a centre point for innovation, learning and meaningful collaboration between industry professionals, landscapers and outdoor living enthusiasts.
With the recent unveiling of Garden House Design’s Carpentier timber canopy in their newly curated area, designers, landscapers and journalists gathered to listen to the afternoon seminars about partnership and collaboration. Looking at the beautiful furniture and outdoor pieces on display, and network with like-minded professionals in the industry.
Cutting the ribbon at the entrance to the new show area, Mark Gregory takes the time to thank his collaborators and hardworking team that helped to build this new extension of The Glasshouse. “The response from the industry has been incredible, and it’s all about this old greenhouse and about sharing, about collaboration, about knowledge and sharing knowledge. So I'm really, really genuinely grateful for everybody who has supported us. So I just want to say thank you!”
So here’s what to expect when you book an appointment at The Glasshouse Collective, with Garden House Design.
- Firstly, we’ll arrange an appointment that works best for you or your client.
- When you arrive, we’ll take a walk around and give you the full tour. Making sure to show off all the amazing products and boast about how wonderful all the partners are.
- We’ll make you coffee, or tea- depending on your preference of course!
- We’ll take a stroll over and sit underneath our beautiful Renson Amani canopy and discuss your project. Including discussion about dimensions and placement of your canopy, kitchen or garden design, to make sure that the project we are designing for you is the best fit for your lifestyle.
- After you leave our team will work hard on preparing a quotation, or if necessary we will arrange our next appointment with you.
Visiting the Glasshouse is an opportunity to introduce you into a world of outdoor living, designed and curated with the highest quality materials, made bespoke for each project. We know that creating your garden design is more than just the products, it’s creating a feeling within the atmosphere, and telling a story of who you are and how you want to live outdoors. We are committed to making sure that we offer our clients the best service, by getting to know them and their style.
With such a wide variety available, some of the products you’ll see will include: the C1 CUBIC outdoor kitchen located underneath our Renson Amani canopy, with neatly positioned dutch-made cane-line furniture, perfectly complimenting the seasons to give you style inspiration for your outdoor space.
You’ll also find a Vlaze outdoor kitchen on the outside of our Amani, fitted with a Big Green Egg and gas barbecue. Making hosting easier than ever before. Strategically placed around the lot are an array of in-lite lighting products. Great for when the evenings turn dark, to highlight and illuminate the beautiful Amani, planting and various deckings.
And so much more living outdoors to discover, with the help and guidance of Garden House Design.
The Glasshouse Collective is currently opening on the first Saturday of each month, from 10am-4pm, for guests to take a walk round and understand what The Glasshouse is all about! No appointment is necessary for the open days- just turn up! The next open days are 4th July and 1st August.
