In this article, we will talk through our design services and our processes. Each of our projects are different from the last, so make sure to get in touch, so we can get you on the right path!
Deciding that you want to create an inviting, atmospheric, cosy space for your outdoor area is the easy part. Knowing what you want to do, or how to do this, is a slightly harder task. We’ll lay out what Garden House Design can do to solve that problem. We’ll introduce you to our tier system- recommended to you with the scale of the project in consideration.
For our canopy and kitchen projects we have created a 3-tier system, bronze, silver and gold. While the bronze package is ideal for straightforward projects and still gives you the full Garden House Design experience, the silver and gold tiers will give you more opportunity to review our designs and have additional support from our designers- for example, helping you select soft furnishing pieces to go under your canopy.

We are always so excited to start fresh and exciting projects with new or existing clients- which is why we take careful consideration when putting together quotes or visualisations for your project! To make sure we understand the full full scope of your project we always set up a phone call or an online video call to meet with you. This way you get to meet with the one of our designer, giving us a chance to understand your concept in detail, as well as deciding if we are a good fit for you!
When moving onto the next stages of the process, and now that we understand more about the project, we’ll set you up with one of our design packages. Alternatively, if you are an industry professional with a project in mind, we have a special package designed for our business to business relationships- that make working together easier. Just give us a call, we’d love to discuss your ideas!
Our bronze package includes a free initial design consultation to discuss your vision, followed by a fully itemised formal quotation of your project. This includes a configurated drawing of your project- a great way to help you visualise what your outdoor space will really look like!
Our silver package comes with a small fee of £350. This is created for clients who are looking at getting one product. Either a canopy or kitchen. It includes a site survey for precise measurements and dimensions of your space, with two sets of revisions for your bespoke design. Also included are comprehensive 3D drawings, millimetre accurate for your reassurance and to give an idea of what key features will look like.
Our Gold package, at just £500, is designed for clients who are looking at getting more than one product, for example a canopy and a kitchen. With this package, you will get a site survey, up to three revisions of your design with drawings, and a second consultation if needed, a furnishings and styling consultation and a formal quotation and summary.

After an initial meeting, we would typically visit your property for a site survey. Within this survey we can assess what design options will suit your outdoor space and lifestyle best. We would also take measurements and assess how your canopy or kitchen will be best positioned within your property.
Not only do we offer kitchen and canopy design- bespoke for all our clients, but we also offer styling and furnishing services. If you’re looking for a relaxing lounge area to retreat to, we can help source the very best in quality and comfort. Great for both small scale designs and commercial designs. We are confident that we will find you something gorgeous not only to look at, but something that is functional and comfortable and of course making the most of your space.
If you’re looking to take another step into making your outdoor space even more luxurious and , we also offer planting design services. Our multi-talented Design Director, Cherry, not only designs canopies and kitchens, she is also a trained horticulturalist! With extensive experience- like designing our RHS Chelsea Flower Show trade stand over the years (amongst other things), she is able to create a space that invites you to live outdoors, and will of course reflect your personal style.
As in-lite works on a low-voltage system, powered by a transformer that plugs into an outdoor domestic socket, there is no need for complex electrical installation. “Unlike solar or battery powered alternatives, running the system from a wired transformer ensures that light output is completely consistent and reliable, regardless of the weather or time of the year.”
