![]() ![]() ![]() We are delighted to announce that Garden House Design have been appointed by Woolly Pocket USA as an official supplier and installer of this amazing new product. We don’t know if you have seen the new Woolly Pocket Living wall system, but we have become involved with this great new living wall product arriving in the UK from the early stages. Launched at Glee this year it has been targeted at the Garden Centres and for DIY use, although in the States, schools have been a prime market for edibles etc. The pocket is made from Re-cycled bottles so fits with our "go-green" philosophy, and comes in three great sizes to fit all kinds of projects either domestic or commerical.
Not only are we involved in being one of the first to sell online but also we are delighted to offer a full advice, design and installation service. We have made sure that our first shipment arrives early November, well in time for Christmas!
As part of our launch we are currently placing Woolly Pockets into a couple of local schools to be planted with edibles, and used for garden education. This will become a main sector for our design team to concentrate on.
We already have vast experience with Living Walls and Green Roofs and have installed some of the largest Living walls in the UK, but this is the first product, we believe, that is not only a great price but realistic for DIY installation, self planting projects in nurseries and schools and in your own home. We have put a Wally One in our office and are loving watching the plants enjoying their new environment. To see more, simply click through to our Woolly Pockets section and treat your home to a lush living wall today!

![]() Picked again to build a Chelsea Garden
Great news for us here at Garden House Design, as we have been apppointed as the main contractors to help build an award winning garden at Chelsea designed by Jane Owen and Anne-Marie Powell for Green & Black's. Green & Black's Rainforest Garden
This garden is a first for Chelsea; it conjures up a rainforest family home and has been made, in part, by Cameroonian indigenous women who want to raise awareness about the threats that they and the rainforest are facing. The garden has its roots in the 18th century British tradition of narrative gardens, which expressed all kinds of stories from the political to the personal. The story of this garden is about changes that hunter gatherers are makign as their hunting grounds are being destroyed by illegal logging, mining and bush meat hunting. Roughly cleared productive plots planted, like this one, with crops like maize and cassava are one of the ways that indigenous communities now provide food for themselves. You will be able to find the garden in the Courtyard Garden Section, Ranelagh Middle 16.
