Garden Decking and Timberwork

Timber is perhaps one of the most flexible materials to use in a garden, offering the texture and warmth of a natural product. Decking is probably at its best when used on several levels and complmenting other surfaces and textures, for example stone or water.

Garden structures, such as pergolas and gazebos add height interest, focal points and create another planting dimension, loved by climbing plants such as clematis.

At Garden House Design we use many types of timber in our designs, from standard pine softwood, to Western Red Cedar, Green Oak, Ipe, Iroko and Balau. We also use readily available pre-made decking boards such as those manufactured by FinnForest.

All our timber is sourced from Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) approved suppliers. This means our timber suppliers can trace the source of the timber from felling to the day our vans make a collection.
